I can better tell what we didn't enjoyed in the jj hotel. We were welcomed realy unfriendly by the employee of the reception desk. First three things she told us; you still have to pay, we charge you an extra x% and last but not least, you have to pay a deposit of hkd 500,-! We have never experienced paying a deposit. Finally, we got our room key en found it ourseleves. We asked in the reservation for a twin room, we got a double room. She told us that we were informed by email upfront, while we never received an email... For travellers with departuring flights later during the day or at night this hotel is not à good option. For us, there was no ability to change or shower. Only à dirty toilet was offered to us. We ended up in changing ourseleves in front of the reception desk. Location and room were oke, but mitigated by above.

The location is very accessible to mrt, shopping, restaurants, grocery and other shops. For the price, compared to its neighboring hotels, it is worth it. Housekeeping staff was very accommodating when we asked for extra pillows and blanket. the hotel was full but she found a way to get a some. Premier room is bigger than typical hotel rooms in HKG. Family with kids can fit comfortably.
Staff at reception is very unhelpful when you ask for directions or time of opening of establlishments. Also, no late check out was allowed. Although we were allowed to leave our luggage for safe keeping, we had to drag along our kids the whole afternoon till night before leaving for the airport. Bath soap was not replenished until we had to ask for it. Carpet need to be shampooed. We had skin rashes after sitting on the carpet.

It is located in the middle of the city. It is close from many places for food, supermarket, even laundry. But it is high enough (or good insulation) to keep it from the noisy street. Hotel staffs are really helpful. I can recommend this hotel :-)
I thought it was closer to the MTR station, since it is located in Wan Chai Road, but it is not that close, especially if you carry a lot of baggage. However, transportation with bus and minibus is just around the corner.

Basic hotel, very clean and comes with all the basic necessities like water kettle with free bottled water, hair dryer, free WIFI, safe deposit, water heater with good water pressure - exactly what we needed for a busy weekend trip. We did not have time to watch TV or DVD but those were provided as well. We stayed on the 10th floor and did not have any problem with noise, which is important for us since we need as much rest as possible with such a short trip. There's also a mini supermarket just next to the hotel and 24hours convinience shops are just minutes away. About 10 minutes walk to MTR station Wanchai.

The location is perfect if you want to explore Hong Kong Island. The staff was very helpfull. The room was very clean and nice. I liked the bed very much and the fact that the bathroom is with glass was for me no problem. The wireless internet connection is working very well. I would certainly consider to go back to this hotel next time.

I did not like the satff (they have broken a toothbrush holder and made us pay for it). They just charged money from the deposit without any procedures which is absolutely unacceptable. Also there is free wifi which never works.

We booked for two twin bed rooms but got a single double bed room. They were full and no other options were available.

Location - although not as close to the MTR as I'd expected but it's close to many food vendors, convenient stores, supermarket and drug store.
The hotel offers free wi-fi; however, in my room (1107) the wi-fi signal wasn't available - I had to stand in the hallway in order to connect.

i hope the hotel could upkeep their sewerage system as we can smell it from the bathroom and it stinks.

JJ provided a homely experience with easy access to downtown and the nightlife scene in Hong Kong. The receptionist was cordial and helped store our luggage after checkout, prior leaving for the airport. The maid service kept the room tidy and clean.
The bathroom is not in a separate room and is only separate by clear glass doors, which are obscured by screens. This can be awkward when staying with a guest who is not romantically involved.
